CHASExcellence is a nonprofit scholarship organization founded in honor of Chase Culp #25, a 12-year-old athlete from Colorado Springs whose passion for basketball, fierce dedication, and warm spirit touched everyone around him.
Chase was more than a player — he was a teammate, a leader, and a role model. Our mission is to keep his memory alive by investing in young athletes who reflect the same values Chase brought to the game and to life every single day.
Every scholarship recipient is evaluated on the four values Chase embodied.
Consistent effort, commitment to improvement, and love for the game.
Being a great teammate and lifting others up in pursuit of a shared goal.
Staying calm and focused under pressure, leading by example.
Mental and physical strength through adversity, on and off the court.
The CHASExcellence Basketball Scholarship helps cover club team costs and gear for deserving players who represent Chase's values.
Young basketball players who demonstrate Toughness, Composure, Unity, and Dedication in their team and community. Coaches may nominate players on their behalf.
Scholarship funds go toward club team fees, uniforms, and gear — removing financial barriers so that talent and heart determine who gets to play.
